Aquatic Therapy

Aquatic therapy is a fun and exciting option to add to your child’s therapy routine. Aquatics can help with muscle flexibility, tone management, head and trunk control, motor coordination and balance, attention span and sensory motor integration, respiratory function, strength and endurance. Aquatics has a positive impact on self-esteem, confidence and motivation. Our aquatic therapists are certified in water safety and CPR.

Occupational Therapy

Pediatric occupational therapy helps promote purposeful functional tasks through play and engagement.  Occupational therapy can address deficits with cognitive, motor, sensory processing, physical, social emotional and overall developmental delays.  Our team uses a child centered approach focusing on helping kids achieve independence and the highest level of function in their daily lives.

Physical Therapy

Treatment focuses on achieving each individual’s maximum potential by improving range of motion, strength, endurance, balance and coordination. We work with patients in one-on-one treatment sessions, and use aquatic and land-based techniques, including Dynamic Movement Intervention, whole body vibration training, and the UEU (universal exercise unit) to improve functional motor skills.

Speech Therapy

Communication is one of the most fundamental and important human skills. Speech is essential to learning, playing, and social interaction. At Firefly, Speech & Language Therapists address communication deficiencies through a variety of therapeutic interventions.

Feeding Therapy

Feeding therapy teaches young children how to eat when they have difficulty trying new foods, chewing, swallowing, sensory issues, irritability at meal time and much more. Our goal is to help all children develop a healthy and enjoyable lifelong relationship with food that ensures your child is getting the nutrients necessary not just to survive, but to thrive.

Intensive Therapy

Our intensive therapy program provides therapy treatment at a high volume over a short period of time to enhance progress toward specific therapy goals. Intensives can include one or multiple disciplines and utilize a variety of treatment methods. This is an ideal treatment model for children with cerebral palsy and other neurological disorders because it capitalizes on neuroplasticity to improve movement patterns and function within just a few weeks.

School Therapy

We offer speech, physical and occupational therapy in the school setting for children with physical or developmental disabilities as well as children with delays.
